We often get clients who are overwhelmed with the amount of passwords they need to remember when setting up a hosting account. This article attempts to explain what each password is for and where it would be useful for you.

FTP | When using an FTP client to transfer files using port No. 21 | The default FTP account password is the same as the cPanel Password. For sub accounts, the password is set using cPanel. | For the default password: Reset the cPanel Password. WordPress | When logging in to the WordPress admin area (usually at yourblog.com/wp-admin) | The password is set when you install WordPress.
