Forwarding mail to another email account

The Email Forwarders option in cPanel, allows a copy of any email sent to one address to be forwarded to another address. This lets you use one account to check mail sent to several email addresses. 

When setting up a forwarder, you must remember that it sends a COPY of the mail to another account through the forwarder. The original mail will still remain, if the email address is present. If you do not delete the cPanel account whose mail is being forwarded, then both accounts will receive mail.

If you wish to forward mail to another account without receiving mail at your cPanel account, ensure that the address is not present in cPanel. If the account already exists, you must delete it in cPanel.
